Continental has expanded its gravity MTB portfolio, offering you even more options for a perfectly tuned tyre setup to suit your riding style.

From now on, 16 new tyre combinations are available, in which the proven tread patterns of the Kryptotal, Xynotal and Argotal models are combined with both the Enduro SuperSoft and Trail Soft carcass and rubber compound options.

From maximum grip on demanding downhill lines to fast, controlled performance on technical trails – each variant has been specifically developed for certain riding styles and areas of use. This allows you to find the perfect formula for your personal riding experience.

SUPERSOFT COMPOUND.
Blend with the strongest adhesion.

The softest compound with the highest grip in the MTB Gravity range. Specially designed for downhill and enduro riding, which mainly consists of descents. This compound is ideal for riders who prioritise grip, traction and control 100 %. Recommended for riding that consists largely of descents.

SOFT COMPOUND.
Balance between rolling resistance and grip.

Balanced ratio between grip and rolling resistance for downhill-heavy applications. An option for optimising the running characteristics of your rear wheel on a DH bike or as the optimal combination for enduro or trail riding.

ENDURANCE COMPOUND.
Focus on durability with good performance.

Compound with a balanced mix of grip, durability and rolling characteristics. The Endurance compound offers high durability combined with good rolling resistance and grip. This compound is suitable for trail bikes or, thanks to its low wear rate as an endurance compound, also for e-bikes.

The new Terra Competition is designed for fast gravel use and features a finely treaded pattern that is ideal for light gravel, compacted soil, as well as rough, worn asphalt in dry to slightly damp conditions.

The user-friendly tubeless system. TL technology is specially designed to adapt tubeless for the demands of road cycling. Easy to mount and reliable in use.

Specially developed, the tubeless bead seals particularly well due to its shape and ensures a stable hold on the rim.

We recommend the use of Revo-Sealant.

E-bike ready.
For our e-bike tyres, we draw on over 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tyres. All our city/trekking tyres meet at least the standard up to 25 km/h. Tyres marked with E50 are also approved for S-pedelecs. With their high-quality construction, they offer high puncture protection, low rolling resistance, and protection against premature wear due to the additional drive force.

  • TKC 80: Every second row has gaps (2), and the unequal edge lengths (1) reduce mechanical interlock, leading to suboptimal off-road performance.
  • TKC 80² Longer, uniform edges (1) and gaps (2) in each row ensure constant traction, providing excellent off-road performance.
  • TKC 80² Offset shoulder blocks (3) improve traction on soft surfaces by increasing edge engagement.
  • Increased contact patch in the critical wear area, with a net increase in surface area of +17%.
    This ensures better high-speed stability and a more grip-optimised wear pattern.
    Furthermore, the tyre has an M+S marking.
